Family

2020

polylactic acid

This work delves into my identity as a family member and examines the meaning of family, or the concept of "home." It poses fundamental questions: What defines a family? How does one balance personal identity within the context of family and societal roles? It reflects the tension between individuality and the collective unity of a family.

To express these themes, I employ a hand-like object, symbolizing the strength of unity, created through the practice of 3D printing. Three-dimensional hands are positioned vertically to explore the dynamics and relationships between family members.
